With the company’s growth firmly established, our founder formed a partnership with his wife, Emília de Abreu Leite, and their four children. The refined aesthetic and exceptional quality of our textiles began to captivate Europe. During this decade, we embarked on our international expansion, bringing the distinction of Portuguese savoir-faire to the discerning UK market.

Albano Coelho Lima, one of the founder’s sons, was appointed Commander of the Order of Entrepreneurial Merit, in the Class of Industrial Merit. This public distinction recognised the family’s contribution to the advancement of the textile industry and to the international prestige of Portuguese design.

This period was defined by a continuous pursuit of technical and sensory perfection. Strategic investments in fabric treatment and finishing elevated the softness of our creations, delivering an incomparable touch that would become one of our defining signatures.

Albano Coelho Lima assumed the leadership of the company. Under his vision, technical progress was combined with environmental responsibility, as we pioneered energy-efficiency solutions that reflected our deep respect for the future.

The arrival of Paulo and José Miguel Coelho Lima in the company’s leadership marked the beginning of the third generation. A new chapter unfolded—one in which we honoured the legacy of the past while preparing the company for the aesthetic and global challenges of the new millennium.

As we celebrated half a century, we consolidated our position as a leading name in home textiles. Our growth was sustained by an enduring dedication to detail and by the creation of environments of comfort and well-being for homes around the world.

In recognition of his decisive role in strengthening the international presence and reputation of Portuguese textiles, Albano Coelho Lima was elevated to the rank of Grand Officer of the Order of Entrepreneurial Merit by the President of the Portuguese Republic.

A heightened commitment to sustainable fibers combined with the introduction of high-precision digital printing and vertical yarn dyeing unlocked infinite creative horizons for LAMEIRINHO. This era established a harmony between organic textures, eco-conscious practices, and timeless design, further expanding the company's global footprint.

We further optimised the complete control of our creative and production processes. From yarn preparation to the final making of duvets and special pieces, we ensure that every product carries the promise of a superior and distinctive touch.

In a shared tribute to an exceptional attention to detail, we became an official partner of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club. It was a natural alliance of values, bringing together our artisanal precision and the highest expression of sophistication.

We were proud to be selected for inclusion in the official publication commemorating the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album. An extraordinary international recognition of our heritage, precision and textile excellence.
